Albums I'm Bumping right now. (not all of them just a few)

Yea, nasty album but was it better than the first? You can argue that is wasn't but i think when it came to production and beats this album exceeds the first by a mile. Well that's just what i think (laughs).
Although not better than his first album the Brick this still goes hard. Production is crazy and beat selection was great. Joell covers the hood, drugs, life, and his high school sweet heart in this album.
Oh My God, this album was a masterpiece. With Dj Premier producing half the albums the production was amazing. Royce shows his story telling ability and his bars are on point 90% of the album. The other 10% was wtf.......lol

Canibus got fucked over?

After a recent beef with Slaughterhouse and Dj Premier Canibus went on a radio show to speak on his recent problems with the two. Canibus also spoke on how the hip hop industry in general fucked him over and why people should shut the fuck up! I have always been behind Canibus and i have always supported him since his first album. Like i said before Canibus has never sold out on himself and always stood true. Listen to the three part rant he went on.
part 2
part 3

Random Axe the new "super group"

Hip hop has a new "super group" and it's not Slaughterhouse. The group has two artist from Detroit and one from Bk. Sean Price has always been nice but very underrated just like every other emcee I talk about. Black Milk is a Mc/producer and he has a great ear for beats and songs. Guilty Simpson is the only one out of the three I never really heard of but after listening to one of his mix tapes I fucks with him. Stay tuned for their new LP dropping June 14 and support the new team.

Sav Killz

Sav Killz
Years present: 1995 to present
From: Bk
Label: All Elements/Fat Beats
Group: Gold Chain Military
The first time i heard Sav Killz i was like this is something impressive. I was on Fulton street working and he walked up to me with a Cd and decided to let me hold it because he saw how much i loved real hip hop. We chopped it up for a few and he put me on some of his songs. When i got home i popped the Cd into my player and listen to a few of his tracks. I became a fan after four or five of his tracks. You can tell he is Wu influenced and he has that O.D.B voice with greater lyrically ability. Not only can this dude rhyme but he is also very humble. You can find Sav on Fulton, Chambers, 23rd street and every other populated street corner in the city. Check out the pics and interview after the jump.

Sean Price

Sean Price
Years Present: 1993 to present
From: Brooklyn
Label: Duck Down
Group: Boot Camp Clik
When i was first introduced to Sean Price it wasn't even through a Boot Camp track. I was at my boys house and he showed me a track called "figure four" and then i became a fan. Now I've seen Sean perform live and he is a big crowd pleaser. He walks onto the stage with this cocky walk and embraces his loyal fan base. Now to get this out the way I love the work he put in as a Boot Camp but I feel like his solo work is much better. Sean is a very talented lyricist but I feel like his demeanor on track bring his music to life. Sean has a very unique flow along with very witty punchlines. Sean has many freestyle videos on you tube that is very entertaining to watch because of the way his hands move around to go along with what he is saying. Sean might have never been exposed to the masses because of his appeal and rhyme style but for the people who love and respect him for his lyrical dominace along the years. If you are reading this you are a Sean Price fan and also a Boot Camp fan. Watch the "figure four video below and see what I'm talking about.
