TWO HIP HOP HEAD DISCUSS TOPICS ON RAP AND THE PROBLEMS OF TODAYS MUSIC. HIP HOP 101 INTERVIEW MRSPLATTV COMMENT SHOW SOME LOVE
I think biggie smalls was better but not way better. They both had a great album ready to die and endangered species. Those are classics. The reason i say biggie is better is because he can rap on any beat you give him and will sound good. Pun was just a great lyricist and he had good flow. But i have to give it to B.I.G. RIP to both them dudes.
ReplyDeleteBig Pun shits on Biggie. Hes seriously billion times better than Biggie. Big Puns 3 albums are all classics and Capital Punishment is by far the best album ever. You can give Pun also any beat and he can spit fire on it and it sounds great. Pun has by far the best flow and lyrics of all time. Biggie was not even that great lyrically and his flow wasnt that great. PUN SHITS ON HIM! Puns flow was never off beat and always mastered.
ReplyDeleteHard to say who the better mc is but if I had to choose. I would say biggie! But they were both very talented
ReplyDeleteBIGGIE IS BY FAR THE BETTER MC!
ReplyDeleteBig Pun was a more technically skilled lyricist
His wordplay and lyrical dexterity is ahead of BIG
Pound for pound lyrically Pun would spank Biggie but not by far as CWallace can spit when he is ready
Artistically, BIG kills Pun in every category from influence, unique flow, consistency and last but not least one of the best rap albums (Ready to Die) that kills both of Pun's albums in musical skill and creativity.
I'm not a huge fan of either I personally think:
NO RAPPER DEAD IS BETTER THAN ANY RAPPER ALIVE
Rakim is way better than both BIG PUN & Notorious combined
BIG PUN....
ReplyDeleteBig pun was the 1st but Biggie smalls was the best...
ReplyDeletebiggie smalls was the best and tupac, but i liked big pun because he can murder any rapper with is quick lyrics and combining anything to his music
