THE BAR EXAM WAS LEAKED 2 DAYS BEFORE IT'S ACTUAL RELEASE DATE. GREAT BECAUSE IT GIVES THE ROYCE FANS SOMETHING TO BOP UNTIL THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE ALBUM COMES OUT. DJ WHOO KID HOST THIS MIX TAPE AND GIVES GREAT PRODUCTION THROUGHOUT THE MIX TAPE BUT DOES GET A LITTLE ANNOYING IN BETWEEN SKITS AND INTURUPTS SOME OF THE FLOW IN THE SONGS BUT IT WONT TAKE AWAY FROM THE LYRICAL SHIT ROYCE TAKES ON THIS MIXTAPE. YOU GOT ROYCE GOING IN ON THE DRAKE OVER BEAT AND HE DESTROYS THAT. IT SHOULD BE HIS SONG AND HE THROWS SOME SHOTS AT DRAKE WHICH CAN BE ARGUED. SONGS LIKE THE The Most Interesting Man SHOWS YOU HOW HE CAN RAP FAST AND KEEP UP WITH THE FAST TEMPO BEAT. I ALSO LIKE Go Hard Pt. 1 (Ft. Kid Vishis) WHICH SHOWS HOW ROYCE CAN GO IN ON A BASS DRIVIN BEAT AND HE RIPS IT APART ALONG SIDE KID VISHIS. ROYCE ALSO THROWS ON NOBODY FUC*ING WITH US WITH BUN B, BUDDEN, AND CROOKED I AND THEY ALL RIP IT APART. I WAS A LITTLE UPSET WITH THE FACT JOELL ORTIZ WASN'T ON THE TRACK. BUT THIS SHOWS ROYCE GOING IN FROM THE FIRST TRACK TO THE LAST TRACK I WAS A LITTLE DISAPOINTED WITH SOME OF THE TRACKS BUT OVERALL IT WAS A decent MIXTAPE WITH GREAT PRODUCTION AND GOOD BEATS. OUT OF 10 STARS IM GOING TO GIVE IT A 7 . DOWNLOAD IT ON DATPIFF.COM.

The DJ's are the blame for whats happening to NEW YORK RAP

Why when you turn on the radio in New York you hear artist from canada? Why do you hear artist from the south? WHY do you hear artist from the west? Because the djs in New York are playing them. I hate it!!!! When you go to another city you might only hear about 2 songs from new york. That might be a jay z song or a fab song. If you look at a top 20 new york radio playlist you might only see 3 new york artist and thats sad. Whats going on man?????? It kills me as a hip hop listener and the saddest thing about this is nobody is doin anything about it. Why is Drake getting more burn in new york than jadakiss or joell ortiz? Why is gucchie man getting more burn than siagon?The radio plays the same music every time and it get me sick.The radio host have to follow the top 20 most popular rappers and play their music whether or not they like it because of the money that is flowing in. Flex from hot 97 only plays rappers that are paying and its sad because there are mc's out there that are nice that are not going to get played because its not "whats poppin". Well until people wake up and start speaking we are goin to have to hear drake's song every 7 mins and trey songs every top of the hour.Good luck to those who worship radio music, im not a big listener i just speak my mind.Hip hop is dead.......

The Brick(album review) JOELL ORTIZ

The Brick was Joell Ortiz freshman album when he signed to Dr.Dre and he was looking for this as his "let everyone now who i am master piece". The brick consist of 125 grams series in which joell tells a story of his life in four songs. He describes his life and tells the listener who he his with his 125 gram part 1. He goes non stop for 5 minutes with no hook and no chorus. As someone who has been through the struggle let me tell you everything he spit i been through. This album drops a lyrical bomb on you and joell goes in on every beat. On the album he has the famous "hip hop" song that every one should know buy now when he goes in on how much he loves and misses hip hop. This album also has many legends in the game like immortal teqhnuiqce, big daddy kane, and ras kass. And thats the problem with this album to be honest. Their was to many cameos on this album and it took away from joell's shine because on about 6 songs joell would spit a 32 and then styles p would rap. It took alot away from joell and I was a little disappointed. The production was good but i would have loved to hear more bass driven beats and more of a monster type concept. But when its all said and done this is a instant classic because it tells the life of an up in comming rappers who is struggling for shine. Dispite the legend filled album joell showcases his talent of a raw gudda flow that is monsterous. Out of 10 stars ima give it and 8.5. Check out free agent this summer....

WHO IS JOELL ORTIZ? THE RAPPER FROM BK WHO CAN SPIT. HE RECENTLY WAS SIGNED TO AFTERMATH BUT THAT WENT SOUR. DRE LET HIM GO AFTER AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TWO SO JOELL BECAME A FREE AGENT. HE WAS SIGNED TO KOCH RECORDS AND RELEASED AN ALBUM UNDER THEM CALLED THE BODEGA CHRONICLES. THE FIRST ALBUM HAD GREAT PRODUCTION WITH MANY HIP HOP LEGENDS IN THE GAME THAT INCLUDE KOOL G RAP, rass kass, and big daddy kane. HE DID GREAT ON THE ALBUM AS FAR AS THE LYRICS BUT HE DIDN'T DO WELL AS FAR AS THE COMMERCIAL PLAY SOME OF THE OTHER RAPPERS WERE GETTING. HE HAD 4 MIX TAPES THAT WERE ALL CLASSICS. HIS FIRST ONE WAS WHO THE F**K IS JOELL ORTIZ, COVERING THE CLASSICS, DEFYING THE PREDICTABLE, AND ROADKILL. HE IS PART OF THE SUPERGROUP SLAUGHTERHOUSE THAT CONSIST OF FOUR SUPER ARTIST IN THE GAME. JOELL ORTIZ IS NASTY STRAIGHT UP RAW OUT OF THE GUTTER. HE SPEAKS NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH AND HE CAN SPIT BARS FOR ETERNITY. ALL HE NEED IS THAT ONE RADIO HIT THAT CAN PUT HIM IN ALL OF THE PEOPLE'S EYES AND THEN PEOPLE WOULD GIVE HIM THE RESPECTS HE DESERVES.
