Jay Electronica to Roc Nation

 Hip hop we have a very major emcee on the move to one of hip hop's biggest labels. Jay Electronica is one of the best emcee's in the game and this move can change everything. The thing that worries me is that there are going to be high expectations. Jay Electronica is going have to sell or this is going to be a big fail. This can become a big issue because his music isn't for the mainstream community. His subject matter is really a one way street and that is a problem in the mainstream world. Jay Electronica can spit for days and i personally think he can make some good music but, sell i doubt it. I don't want him to sellout because the label demands a hit record or some sound scan numbers. Look what happened to Joe Budden, "pause". "Until then hip hop is gone".
