Joe Budden

When people bring up Joe Budden's name most people would role their eyes and brush away the thought. But the loyal fans out their who stood by his side since day one can tell you that he is one of the most lyrical emcee's of all time. All the beefs, label woes, and misconceptions has made Joe Budden the artist that he is. He started with the smash single "pump it up" and that created major buzz for him at the time. His first album didn't get any good reviews and he got released from his label and his mainstream buzz went down the drain. He started the very popular mix tape series "Mood Muzik" and that opened the door for his fans to enter the world of Joe Budden. With his dark, complex lyrics he is often one amazing emcee and there is no way you can deny his talent. To be honest he never made a decent album worth buying and it kills me because he had great mix tapes. He is apart of the well known "super group" Slaughterhouse and that movement has helped him drastically. The greatest thing about the slaughterhouse movement is that he has the luxury of creating new fans because of the 3 other emcees. I remember going to see Joe at BB kings and his fans were so loyal and supportive of his music. There were hundreds of fans outside waiting for Joe to arrive and it was a great scene. Joe ripped the packed house bringing out his slaughterhouse bandmates. He performed his new mix tape Mood Muzik 4 and his fans new every single word. One thing about Joe is that he is very humble but he is also very confident so he won't turned down a challenge. Joe Budden's flow, delivery, and lyrics makes his better than most emcee's out there. I just think his image isn't the greatest out there so many people would turn there heads to his music but give him a chance and you will be happy you read this article. "Until then hip hop is gone".
