Joell Ortiz at S.o.b's

 November 9th was the day Joell Ortiz came back from his major tour and he really brang the flavor of real hip hop back to New York. Joell's 300 plus fans stormed the famous S.o.b's and they were louder than ever. Hot 97 was in the building real heavy along side the heavy hitters. Peter Rosenberg, Dj Enuff, and Cipha sounds showed love for Joell and the legendary Dj Premier got on stage when Joell was performing his "sing like bilal" single. Joell brang out the Brownsville emcee Sean Price and he tore up the stage. The "yaowa" army was also in the building chanting his popular phrase over and over again. I couldn't help but scream "yaowa" a couple of times. Joell also showed the packed S.o.b's a couple of songs off his free agent album and people sang them word for word. You really got to see how loyal these fans were as they followed Joell's every move. Hip hop was definitly in the house and i really felt good to be apart of it. Joell showed that with little mainstream help and lack of label support he can still fill and pull off one of the most amazing shows of all time.
