Canibus And Keith Murray album The Under Gods review
Canibus and Keith Murray have teamed up and made a 7 song Lp that really impressed me. Now Canibus is one of my favorite Rappers of all time because of his lyrical power and his flow. Keith Murray is alright but he doesn't amaze me. The album only contains 7 songs so it is very short. Point black lyrically Canibus kills it in every song and shows why he is one of the greatest. Keith Murray goes in on a couple of songs but he starts to get annoying early in the album. The beats they picked were perfect for they respected flows and voices. Now the problem is the topics they use in the album are all over the place. I would get lost here and there on some songs. They go extra hard on every track and the production was superb. Classic canibus and you have to let the album grow on you if you really want to enjoy it. The best song on the album is 129 because of the beat and the verse Keith Murray has on it. I give this album a 7.5 out of 10.
Thank Drizzy Later (Dead ass)

Thank him later!!!!!
Now let me say this i am not the biggest Drake fan in the world but i give credit where credit is due so i wouldn't deny him if he does something spectacular or hot. Now on to the review of the thank me later album that he released on June 15. This very anticipated album was well waited for and the whole world wanted to see what this rapper/singer is about and the album gives you a good example of what he is about. Now the album has a couple of cameos, should we be surprised? We all know Drake is going to get all the hottest rappers in the game to either produce or rap in his album. Now there was nothing special about the cameos here. Ti made a performance on a song called fancy, nothing special. The horrible Nicki Minaj gave a boring performance on the song. I guess a fat ass isn't so special when you cant see it, "hey Nicki stay in you lane and show me some more eye candy". Im not going to lie but fire works was on point as far as Drake flowing and the hook was decent. Drake did his thing on that song despite complaining about his life and whatnot. Lil Wayne was on the album and he sucked as usual. He sounded like he was high on that cough syrup. The production was good and there wasn't anything special when it came to beat selection. He had two singles on the album, over, and find your love. I have heard better versions of over from the likes of Royce and eminem so i wasn't amazed and find your love is a song for the ladies but its catchy. With the funding he got from his label those two singles got so much radio play people we forced to like it. The album is boring and the beats were just typical Drake. The album didn't get my head moving and i skipped a couple of tracks due to weak hooks and him singing to much. The album will sell due to his large fan base and people will praise it even though the album isn't even ok. Boring album and i am not surprised. He does flow on the album here and there but the topics in which he talks about just aren't important. He either brags about his money and fame or complains that all his fame is bringing him down. Maybe his next album can contain less singing and more spitting. O yea i almost forgot he used auto-tune on the album just to remind you guys he isn't a natural singer. I give this album a 5 out of 10. "Hiphopisgone".....
Now lets get to the exposure please..(no names included) "the single"
Now lets get to what's really happening in these major radio stations. These major radio stations (no names) only play certain artist (no names). If you turn on the radio you can really tell whats going on, these so called hip hop stations play the same artist (no name) and same type of music over and over until you are forced to like it. Just like one of the dudes i interviewed said " hypenosis is what these radios do to the listener. He said "they force the song upon you until your mind is focused on it". I totally agree because when i hear a song on the radio that is getting spins i am forced to like it because it's in the air 24/7. Well back to what i was saying, the stations push one product and that product is the "single". It has to have a catchy beat, a nice chorus, and ignorant lyrics. How do i know this because look what's getting played on the radio (no names). I know a few people that have worked for radio stations and specific record labels and they all tell me the same thing, you don't have to be nice in this rap game. I can put it like this if a rapper comes up to you and gives you 100,000 dollars to play his single even if it's the worst thing you ever heard and a talented mc gives you 4,000 dollars you would take the 100,000. There are more politics rather than skill in this game right now and you and everyone out there knows it. This guy gets 100 spins a day that guy gets 190 spins a day and that guy gets 400 spins a day. Truth is those rappers that are getting all the spins in the world are garbage. All you need is a fresh shape up, a nice hook, and a catchy beat. These dj's need to really start playing real mc's man. Im sick and tired of this and i feel like the article isn't only sending a message it is putting some truth in your heads. "hiphopisgone"........

LETS GET RID OF ALL THE NEW YORK DJS AND LETS PLAY REAL HIP HOP

EMINEM (RECOVERY ALBUM REVIEW) HE'S BACK PEOPLE!!!!!
Mr. Shady is back people. Em's highly anticipated album is finally here with a leak that was released this week and it's out for every one to download. Now lets start off with this album isn't like his relapse album it's a lot more put together as far as the theme and the topics in which he chooses to rap about. Slim took a different approach when it came to the producers he picked and the beats are very rock influenced which also can take away from the experience because you don't get that Marshall Mathers experience and im not going to lie i don't want rock to be mixed in with hip hop. Hip hop is evolving and i understand that but this is exactly why hip hop isn't ever going to get back to its roots because the rappers are straying away from the hardcore Mc feel. Well the lyrics are there Em is the best at what he does and he can express his feelings better than anyone in the game. His delivery was out of this world on this album and the beats he chose fit his flow. There are 16 songs including a bonus and they all have this he's trying to prove something feel and i feel like the tempo of the album was amazing. There are cameos from Pink, rihanna, and Lil Wayne. The overall product was great and i think Em is back and he's out to kill. I think the rock feel did take away but not to major and his lyrics were amazing. Classic Em album that's going to be playing on my ipod and im going out to purchase it when its released. 9 out of 10 stars in my book great album.......Mrsplatt...

DISTANT RELATIVES NAS *(DAMIAN MARLEY)* ALBUM*REVIEW

2. Tribal War (feat. K’NAAN)
3. Strong Will Continue
4. Leaders
5. Wisdom (Sabali)
6. Count Your Blessings
7. Disappear
8. The Promised Land (feat. Dennis Brown)
9. Nah Mean
10. Angola (Friends)
11. My Generation (feat. Lil Wayne and Joss Stone)
12. Africa Must Wake Up (Feat. K’NAAN)
13. BONUS TRACK Ancient People (feat. Junior Reid)
Just to get this out of the way this is Nas best album of all time. The only album that can compete to this is maybe stillmatic. Im going to go as far as to say this was the best album of Nas overall because of the overall product. The overall album is the greatest he has ever released. The music is insane, you have Damian Marley combining his reggae soulful flow with Nas powerful rhyme scheme. The music in which it's delivered from these two artist is the best this year and you cant go wrong by buying this album. From track one to 7 you are locked on to amazing music, and when i say music your getting jazz, reggae, and hip hop altogether in one album. There are a few songs that were a little dull shall i say because of the tempo of the beats they chose at the end. They also have a song called "my generation" feat Lil Wayne and im saying this now he did go in lyrically as far as grabbing the listener in and making them feel what he was saying. Seems like Nas told him to be serious on this track and not to do all that "goo goo ga ga shit" Wayne be doing on his songs. This is an instant classic go pick it up in stores right away. This album out of 10 should be a 10 but because of a few songs that messed up the tempo ill give it a 9.3..... That shouldn't take away from the overall experience of the album....MrsplattV........
